WAYS WE CANWORK TOGETHER
The work is shaped around you, your context, your role, your environment, and what’s actually happening.
Whether you’re navigating your own next step, or supporting a team or organisation through growth and change, the focus remains the same: clarity, thoughtful decision-making, and meaningful progress.
For Individuals
Leadership Coaching
There are points in your career where things look fine from the outside, but don’t feel as clear on the inside.
You might be making decisions, leading work, or being trusted at a higher level, but something about how you’re moving through it doesn’t feel fully aligned.
That’s usually where this work begins.
We focus on:
Career direction, transitions, and next steps
Stepping into leadership with clarity and confidence
Decision-making in complex or high-pressure situations
Navigating organizational dynamics, expectations, and growth
What Changes?
This isn’t about being given direction, but instead creating the space to think intuitively. To say things out loud. To question what you’ve been carrying. To notice what you already know, but haven’t fully trusted.
From there, the work becomes clearer, and decisions become easier to stand behind. The next steps start to feel like your own.

FAQ
-
This is for professionals who feel ready for more, but can’t fully articulate what that means yet. You might be successful on paper, but something feels off, unclear, or unfinished.
-
No! Most people don’t. Part of the work is getting clear on what you actually want and what’s getting in the way.
-
Career direction, leadership challenges, confidence, decision-making, navigating workplace dynamics, or preparing for a next step that feels bigger than where you are now.
-
Both. The work is grounded and practical, but it starts with how you see yourself. From there, we translate that into real decisions and actions.
-
This is forward-focused. The work is about clarity, confidence, and action in your professional life, not processing the past.
-
Real conversations. No scripts, no formulas. You bring what’s on your mind, and I help you see it more clearly, challenge assumptions, and move forward with intention.
-
I have a 10 session minimum commitment for individual coaching for best results! After that, it varies.
Some people come for a specific moment or transition. Others stay longer for ongoing support as they grow into new roles or responsibilities. -
Sessions are virtual, and last between 45-60 minutes each. I like to meet weekly or bi-weekly at most.
For Organizations
HR Consulting
Most challenges inside organizations aren’t about capability.
They come from how people are supported, how decisions are made, and how clearly things are understood across a team. I work within organizations to strengthen the way people, and performance, come together.
This can involve leadership conversations, team development, or supporting the design of internal approaches to performance, growth, and communication.
The focus is not on adding more process, but on making what already exists work more effectively.
Areas of Focus
Leadership and team development
Performance and talent strategy
Organizational support and advisory
Facilitated workshops, sessions, and offsite
The Results
What changes is how people think, communicate, and make decisions.
Leaders become clearer in how they lead.
Conversations become more direct and productive.
Teams spend less time circling the issue, and more time addressing what’s actually there.
The work shows up in the day-to-day, not just in a framework.
FAQ
-
Organizations that care about their people and want to build stronger, more effective teams. This can range from growing companies to more established corporate environments.
My work is not industry specific.
-
Typically, a leader or HR partner comes forward with something specific.
It might be a team that needs to step back and plan, a group that isn’t functioning well together, or a broader question around how to improve performance and alignment.
From there, the work is designed around that need.
-
Both.
Some organizations are focused on growth, planning, and moving to the next level. Others come in with specific challenges, such as team dynamics, performance issues, or misalignment within a group.
The work can support either direction, depending on what’s needed.
-
Designing means building the structure of the time.
For example, if a team is coming together for a two-day offsite, I map out how that time is used, what happens hour by hour, what conversations need to happen, and how the group moves through them.
-
Always. Every engagement is shaped around what’s actually happening inside your organization, not a pre-built program.
-
Stronger leadership, clearer communication, and more aligned teams. The goal is practical change that people can feel in how they work day to day.
-
With context and experience. Having worked inside organizations for decades, Jo Ann understands both the system and the individuals navigating it.
-
Larger sessions like offsites are typically done in person, especially when teams are coming together for dedicated time.
Shorter sessions or workshops can also be done virtually, depending on location and needs.
-
Usually a leader or someone in HR.
They’re responsible for a team or function and are looking for support in improving how that group works, plans, or moves forward.
